Holmvik Stua

Our restaurant Holmvik Stua is situated directly at the quay and possesses its own big outdoor place. There you can watch the seals and gulls while you are enjoying dinner.

The Stua is very cozy and nice and you will find a lot of historical materials and tables which were used as a door or a cable reel before. It is also a great experience to walk on the original floor of the salt-fish production.

According to the historical background it is a great pleasure for us to serve traditional food. We are certified as an Arktisk-Meny company. This lab stands for mainly using local ingredients for the food.

We produce the dry fish products by ourselves as well as our reindeer hams. We also have a little smokehouse of our own and we use only fish from the little fishing boats. All cakes and our brown bread are self made. We do not use artificial flavoring and flavour enhancer.

A visit in the unique atmosphere of the Holmvik Stua with its Arctic deliciousness is an unforgettable experience.

We are open for individual guests but we also have the possibility to serve for big groups in an intimate atmosphere.

In the summer time we have open generally. In January we have a rest month and in the other time of the year we normally serve lunch on the weekends between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. In the case of pre order we can also serve more different food. Our overnight guests have the possibility to book an arrangement half-board during the whole year around.
