Bird watching and other animal watching

White tailed eagles, gulls and cormorants are common guests in the sky of Nyksund. But you can also observe other birds as well. Otters, minks, seals etc. are also to be seen. In our restaurant we have a list of the last sightings. If you don’t only want to make an expedition on land you are welcome to book a boat trip at “Arctic Quest”. They regularly offer trips to the Bird Island close to the coast where you can watch the famous puffins and also a colony of seals.
